As a business that specialises in both construction training and environment training, we are not just thinking of both sides as separate entities but as collective, interchangeable sectors. It’s common that in the construction industry, environment is a very important aspect of the process, similarly, construction is a large area to consider when learning about the environment.

As Enstruct, we believe there is a place for both the construction industry and the environment to thrive side-by-side and create a great place to live. By providing young people the opportunity to learn about construction and the environment, two areas that require more skilled people, we are building a better foundation for the future by raising important issues with both construction and the environment.

The combination of construction and learning about the environment is a successful integration of two areas that normally have conflicting viewpoints but combining them into one business means that our training staff are aware of how each area works and how collaboration is possible.

Despite popular belief, construction and the environment can work hand-in-hand to create a sustainable working partnership. The environment can be used to provide resources to the construction industry as well as the construction of infrastructure being able to provide a space for the environment to continue to thrive alongside the buildings. Or in some cases, even on the buildings themselves.

It’s important that the construction industry does take into account the environment when building. This commonly comes under a development company’s corporate responsibility as sustainable construction, making nature able to continue to grow and live surrounding a building. This is an important part of what we teach students, as well as the vocational skills, we want them to be able to go into the workplace being mindful of other industries and the way they can affect what goes on in their industry.

Head over to our construction page or our environment page to find out what we can offer.
