Enstruct Training collects, processes, and retains personal information about individuals submitted using our forms, published applications, surveys, events attendance list, subscriptions, etc. This includes:

Marketing: Enstruct Training seeks consent from individuals regarding sending marketing communications. As a small business we rely on presenting our message to you. Hence, we do need to collect and retain data from you so we may keep you informed and updated about future events and services. Individuals have the right to opt-in if they wish to receive marketing updates from us. Only individuals who agree to receive such communications will receive marketing messages. Individuals have the right to review their consent at any time and refuse to receive marketing messages.

Individual Communications: We may directly contact individuals in a case of protecting an individuals’ genuine interest. This communication is highly restricted and only used as a personalized medium to prevent irreversible damage to the individual.

Enstruct Training stores personal data on our own server and systems hosted in European Union Countries and the United Kingdom. This approach allows for a more efficient method to control access for our employees and third parties. Access to personal data is highly restricted internally for approved business purposes.

Any personal data collected in paper format (registrations, student material, surveys, business cards, etc.) is securely filed at our office located in the United Kingdom. Personal data is retained for a maximum period of 2 years unless required for specific legal or contractual purposes as specified in our Retention Policy. Access and use of personal data are monitored and audited. We have systems and processes in place to monitor use of systems containing personal data and to alert us of any breach or misuse of personal data.

We may rely on third parties, for example software providers, to ensure that your data is removed when we make that request. This term does not apply to corporate or technical data in our systems submitted while using our services.

Retention of data

Enstruct Training, as a small business, retains data for a variety of purposes, including it’s own and on behalf of government agencies and others. A variety of factors are therefore at stake in determining retention periods.

Ordinarily data will be retained for a maximum period of 2 years. In effect this means that data will be removed / destroyed within 2 years of the last contact with the subject.

Data required to be retained by government agencies, for example HMRC, or for other statutory reasons, will be retained in accordance with relevant statutory guidelines.

Data required to be retained by examination and qualifications bodies will be retained according to the rules of the relevant scheme, in order to ensure we provide a full service to our clients and students.

Personal data relating to safeguarding issues may be retained indefinitely subject to regular review. Government and NSPCC guidelines suggest that child protection files should be kept until 7 years after the organisations last contact with a child, or until the age of 25 in cases where the file is passed on to any new school. Regular reviews will consider this guidance alongside other issues including any views of the young person; any known current investigations or concerns; the nature  and outcome of enquiries into the initial concern.

Enstruct Training reserves the right to review and amend this policy at any time. The latest updated version of the privacy policy will be available on our website and referred to from all data collection sources.

Enstruct Training will not send a communication on updates to this policy separately.
